Is Privacy Real Anymore?
All About Our Privacy:
Is anything really private anymore? That's the big question nowadays. The short answer is no, but lets dive much deeper into why our lives and what we post aren't really private.
First thing everyone should do is limit how much personal information or controversial opinions you put out on the internet. We unfortunately live in a world where everything you do and say will be held against you and to protect your reputation and future, you need to keep this in mind when posting on social media. The more you post online, the more bigger companies like Google, will track you and use what you post against you. One thing you can do to protect yourself is to create a fake email. In your fake email you can sign up for notifications from websites, order clothes, spam emails, social media sites, and more. This way you can still do the things you like to do, in a safe way and without sharing your personal information.
Another extremely important tip to note, is to watch what you click on. Sometimes websites will have an ad pop up that may be tempting to click, but it only takes one click and then that company has all of your information. Hackers are everywhere nowadays and it only takes seconds for your account to get hacked.
Another way to protect yourself from information stealers, is to get a VPN. A VPN is a virtual private network that gives you online privacy without showing your information by creating a private network from a public internet connection. VPNs will keep your information secure and protected if you are in a public place browsing or trying to buy something. Overall, it is so easy to get your information stolen online. You must be careful what you post, who you are sitting next to, and what internet you are using.
