The Progressive Era: 

    Why don't we hear about antiwar voices? Why don't they get to preach their opinions? Unfortunately the mainstream news like to silence our antiwar voices and promote war. We all have the right to free speech and the freedom of press. Therefore we are allowed to voice our opinions. The problem is, you won't necessarily see these posts and websites because its not the "popular opinion". The media tends to put out what the majority will agree with so there is no retaliation or backlash. This is wrong and needs to be stopped. We need to start normalizing differing opinions. Most Americans believe in using military force when needed, but there are some that don't agree. All Americans are allows to have an opinion on war whether they are for or against it. Sometimes you just have to dig a little deeper to find the antiwar views.
