My Top 5 Sources of News and Information

Blog Post 1: Top 5 Sources of News and Info:

In today's society its so difficult to find accurate or credible news sources. Almost every website nowadays is bias towards one political side or the other. Due to the fact that you don't really know what is true and what isn't in the news, it has caused many people to stop watching or reading the news as a whole. I personally have 5 favorite news sources where I feel that I get factual non-biased news every time.

 1.  ABC is one of my favorite sources keep up with the news because it has every latest incident from COVID19 to murders. Whenever ABC comes on I am always intrigued to watch because I feel that I always learn something new everyday.  ABC is quick and efficient with putting out information to provide their readers and watchers. ABC News has been around for 76 years and is still fast and reliable.

2. The Wall Street Journal is another very reliable news source. It is a newspaper as well as an online news source. Wall Street Journal has won 37 Pulitzer Prizes and it has basically dominated American business publishing. Wall Street always leans more towards conservative opinion but the whole department avoids  any type of bias. WSJ is known for its thorough business news coverage. WSJ writers tell the news like it is which is not an easy thing to do in any news organization.

3. The Associated Press was founded in 1846 and is known for winning 53 Pulitzer Prizes. The Associated Press has been releasing unbiased news journalism for years. This news source is actually known for helping journalists write their own news stories because of how accurate the news is. Every single report is unbiased or neutral meaning the reports don't sway towards one political side or the other. The Associated Press stands out among others for reporting just the news and no opinionated topics.

4. BBC has some of the best information in the world. BBC is actually the world's oldest national broadcasting service and also one of the largest. BBC specializes in global news. In the past BBC has been scrutinized for leaning slightly to the left but overall has been reported unbiased and accurate.

5. All Sides is one of the coolest news sources around due to the fact that you as the reader can choose what political view point you would like to read. Each political story gives the readers options to either view the source "from the left" "from the center" or "from the right".  All Sides provides multiple prospectives for each story which I think is extremely unique.
