 The Age of AI

An AI stands for Artificial Intelligence and it is the simulation of human intelligence processes by machines, more specifically computer systems. Right now China and the United States are in a technology war. Because of AI, half of jobs will be threatened which is causing a labor force disruption. In the film, AI was explained as well as China potentially surpassing our AI technology. Artificial learning is the deep thinking of the human brain. Our human intelligence can not compete with artificial intelligence. 

    AIs have caused some problems with equality and now our government is waking up to try and enhance our technology even more. At the end of the film, we learned how much information Google has about individuals and their presence online. This honestly scared me a lot. I always knew that Google tracked our information but I didn't realize how much they know. I personally think these companies like Google need to be honest with the people about how our information is being used and stored. Google constantly abuses their power and gets away with it. The big question right now is: Are we using companies like Google, or are they using us? And the answer is that they are using us. 

    Many people want to trust technology but when they have access to so much information its hard to trust it. Facial recognition is a huge controversial topic. Yes, its easy to just unlock your phone by looking at it or paying for things with your face, but doesn't it freak you out a bit how our phone are able to recognize us? What other information do they have on us? 

    Deep learning is used in every part of society and the use of machines help us become more creative. AI has become a new tool to help doctors and lawyers because it does our work better than we ever could. It really is fascinating to think about where we we will all be in the future with AI.
